Faded granduer is about the nicest thing I can say about the hotel. The room was ok though the carpet was very grubby. However why o why, like some many Chinese hotels, can they not supply toilet roll until you have completely run out!
Always bring one of your own. The place is quite miserable in that the staff have number badges instead of name badges. Chinese and a verty limited western menu were available and the food was ok, but be warned if the restaurant is quiet, the staff will close it anything up to one hour before the stated times.
There is very little to do in Taizhou, so if your business trip goes over a weekend, you will find little do. If you are a solo male traveller you will get the "do you want a massage phone call" mosdt nights within a few minutes of entering your room.
