I'm pretty easy to please! I understood it's three star and I actually very much liked the rooms and the door boys were beautiful! Breakfast was okay but that was also fine with me as they had thin pancakes and egg and it's close to a lot of things by walking distance! However the women and a couple of the men were soooo rude when you go to the desk they are short and sharp and if the phone rings they answer it and don't come back to you unless you say something!
I could also deal with that the worst bit of all was the spa or brothel I think where you are slapped and rubbed up by forceful girls in mini skirts who tried to give my partner a hand job!
We were both demoralised and then pushed to tip what they wanted or we weren't allowed to leave their seedy cave! Won't stay there again just for a visa letter I will take my buisness to the nicer looking hotels down the road with less complaints! I tried to look past all the bad reviews but the spa upset me a lot More.
Thank you for your comment. This is an awesome hotel. It has a fantastic location; near the Ben Thanh Market, restaurants, coffee shops and just very near the tourist sites. That is number one thing I loved about this hotel. The staff are awesome as well, they are very helpful in terms of pointing you to certain directions if you feel like going for a walk around the area and offering you awesome tours.
The rooms are exceptionally clean all the time. They clean the rooms daily but the downside is the room has no window view. The breakfast was good. They serve you Vietnamese as well as pancakes and toast with choices of coffee, water and juice for their buffet breakfast. All in all, this is a great hotel and I would love to stay here again. We stayed at the Kingston twice for a night during our trip to Vietnam. So we had two different rooms. The cathedral, opera house and main post office are in walking distance 15 to 20 min , It is very close to market and night market 3 min walk.
