My husband and I came to Spas Hanoi for a couples massage yesterday. We went with the 75 minute, traditional Vietnamese option. It was fantastic! Both of our massage therapists were wonderful. The amount of pressure and massage was perfect and we left feeling so relaxed and taken care of. We loved it! My boyfriend and I wanted to have a deep massage at spas hanoi today but unexpectedly the electricity wasn't working. The way the situation was dealt with was very exceptional and professional.
Rather than turn us away, they made an effort to find us another spa, and made sure we got the spa treatment at the same price. We really appreciated the extra mile they went with us. Although we didnt have our massage with them in the end, we were so impressed by their customer service. I think I expected too much to this massage shop. I read all reviews about spa shops near Hoan kiem and finally decided this place, because the rate was reasonable and the atmosphere seemed neat and clean.
To be honest, the receptionist was kind, but the therapist who massaged me was awful. I chose the deep tissue massage cuz it was written there the strength is stronger than other massages.
It was not a massage at all, it was just like rubbing oil on my body for 75minutes. The therapist just rubbed my back doing the same motion for 50 times with oil and all other parts of my body also. I got a 90 minute Vietnamese massage at Spas Hanoi,and it was both invigorating and relaxing. The masseuse was very experienced. They ask you if you have any health concerns before the massage and I said psoriasis.
They were very concerned if their oils would irritate my skin,so they instructed the masseuse to use olive oil on my skin,this showed the degree of concern this spa takes with its clients. Plus,they are much cheaper than the other spas around. The good: we made a booking online for a 2 hr massage, scrub and facial treatment, and received an email confirmation back promptly. On arrival at the spa, the staff were polite, and all seemed well.
