Contact Admin. I am staying at the Barcelo Karmina Palace in a few weeks. I love a good massage on holiday. Does anyone know a nice inexpensive place to go in Manzanillo? I am assuming the hotel spa is priced much the same as canadian prices. I am looking for a deal. I loved the outdoor setting and the price. Anything comparable in to that Manzanillo?
The hotel spa is a little less than CDN prices, but not by a huge amount. I know there are a couple of places nearby that advertise massages, but I've never had one there. Strangely enough, you can get a surprisingly good massage at Playa Miramar , right on the beach; the ladies walk up and down the beach, dressed in their uniforms, carrying their tables, and are willing to negotiate prices a bit. I'm hoping this question gets a few more answers - like I said, I KNOW there are great places, I just don't know where they're located!
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find where the deal is for massages around here. I don't think any of them would be any cheaper then what ChellyBelle mentioned.
When hubby and I were sightseeing we stopped in at a place off the highway. Lots of little shops for me to look around in while hubby stopped in for a massage. He said he was so relaxed he was drooling. They had a white curtain for privacy.
We asked a taxi driver for someplace to shop and this was where he took us. It was back towards the airport from town but not very far. There were a few restaurants then this little shopping area.
